Join us for an Interpretation Training designed to prepare volunteers to provide clear, accurate, and respectful language support to our community members' appointments with our free legal clinic. This is primarily for bilingual English-Spanish speakers, but other languages are welcome.

We’ll cover the role of an interpreter, confidentiality and boundaries, best practices for accurate interpretation, and how to navigate challenging situations. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to practice and build confidence supporting community members across language barriers.

No professional interpretation experience is required.
